TIN STAR K9 is owned and operated by retired law enforcement officers who have the experience and knowledge it takes to produce working dogs for police, military and search and rescue organizations.
We offer the highest quality scent discriminant trailing dogs, detection dogs and dual purpose dogs on the market.
GROUND BREAKING TRAINING METHODS
All TIN STAR K9 dogs are hand-selected as puppies and start their training at 8 weeks old.
Taking full advantage of the crucial time in a dog's life, between 8 and 16 weeks old, the pups are started on search games and trailing and are exposed to a wide variety of environmental issues. This ensures the dogs are properly imprinted to work where they will perform and are environmentally sound.
MASTER TRAINERS
Our unique training program was developed over decades and was heavily influenced by the challenges encountered in real world deployments.
The TIN STAR K9 staff has over 80 years of law enforcement experience combined, with over 40 years of that being in criminal investigations and missing persons and over 30 years of police dog training & handling.
Our staff knows what it takes to be successful when deploying your dog.
