We provide basic handler training, advanced training and group seminars, as well as additional on-going training and deployment consultation at no charge with the purchase of our dogs.

WE TRAIN WHERE YOU WORK
At TIN STAR K9 we train where you work. While a percentage of all training is conducted in wooded, rural and minimally populated areas, the vast majority of training is conducted in heavily populated, urban areas where the bulk of deployments occur.
GROUND BREAKING TRAINING METHODS
All TIN STAR K9 dogs are hand-selected as puppies and start their training at 8 weeks old.
Taking full advantage of the crucial time in a dog's life, between 8 and 16 weeks old, the pups are started on search games and trailing and are exposed to a wide variety of environmental issues. This ensures the dogs are properly imprinted to work where they will perform and are environmentally sound.
